I established MM-Training in 2007. Previously I had worked for the Ministry of Defence, several sectors of private industry and spent time working for a commercial training organisation.
I have spent much of this time working in warehousing and distribution with something of a speciality in “chemical stores” I have experience with Road Haulage and Dangerous Goods dating back to 1984.
I had several years of teaching truck driving and I am still involved in delivering Transport Manager training. I have extensive experience on many types of forklifts, I have experience and qualifications for construction plant and machinery. I hold a formal teaching qualification which helps me deliver effective training. I have been a Health and Safety man for many years. I believe simple solutions are often the best ones.
I believe training should not be about teaching to pass tests but to give a depth of knowledge to candidates for their futures.
PS I also have been known to sit behind a drum kit.
